Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the GridStats iPhone app and the gridstats.io website. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use GridStats.

Who we are

GridStats is run by Flick Pictures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 01631573), registered office 11 Sturgeons Hill, Lichfield, Staffs, WS14 9AW. You can contact us at hello at gridstats dot io.

What GridStats does

GridStats shows audience numbers from social platforms in one grid, with how they have changed over time. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any social media platform. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to use GridStats.
• Keep access to your email address and your phone secure, because they are how you sign in.
• Only connect accounts that you own or are allowed to manage.

Connected platforms

When you connect Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest, you sign in on that platform's own screen and can disconnect at any time. Our access is read-only. Each platform's own terms still apply to your use of it. The numbers come from those platforms, so they can change the numbers, delay them, limit our access or stop providing them, and a tile may stop working as a result. Our privacy policy explains what we read and how we handle it.

Plans and payment

GridStats has a free plan and paid plans with more tiles. The price and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy. Paid plans bought in the app are charged and renewed by Apple under Apple's terms, and you cancel or ask for refunds through Apple. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• break the law or a platform's rules through GridStats;
• try to get into another person's account or data;
• attack, overload, copy or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
• use automated tools to take data from GridStats.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things.

Our service

We work hard to keep GridStats accurate and available, but we can't promise that every number will be correct or up to date, or that the service will never be interrupted. Please don't rely on it for important business or financial decisions without checking the platform itself. We may change or stop features. If we close the service we will give you reasonable notice.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the app. If you have a paid plan, cancel it with Apple as well, because deleting your GridStats account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected. Otherwise we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses or for problems caused by the platforms. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose, or £50 if that is more.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app first.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
